Description

The Vignerons de Mancey are a group of 80 vine growers on a surface of 300 acres, in the area around the city of Macon, on the north of the Burgundy region.

You may think that all Bourgogne white wines are Chardonnay, but Aligoté is also a native variety. The grapes are bigger and slightly orange.  It is less known than Chardonnay and has not been planted all over the world but today people are interested in pure variety wines and new tastes so Aligoté is the new fashion.

It will be more mineral than Chardonnay with a greenish gold hue.

After careful picking and pressing the wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel vats at low temperature and bottled in Spring.
