Duc de Chancay – Champagne Brut

Region: Champagne

Tasting Notes: Aroma of violet, lime blossom. Luminous yellow gold color. Fine and lively bubbles. The palate is light and melted with notes of citrus and exotic fruits as well as a dry, delicate finish of honey and brioche bread.

Varietal: 45% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay, 25% Meunier

Alcohol: 12.5%

Cellar: Now or up to 5 years

Pair With: Can pair with many things, though easily enjoyed as an apéritif. The bright vivacious acidity cuts through oils and fats and the effervescence cuts through sweets, making it an ideal wine for brunch! Fried chicken and pancakes could use a little palate cleanser, though this wine can hold its own with a fruit custard tart, strawberry shortcake or even a chocolate trifle.

Certifications: Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE), Viticulture Durable en Champagne (VDC)
