Tasting Notes: Lilacs, vanilla and tobacco layer on top of red and black berries with hints of jam, earth and spice on the nose. The palate leads with red berries and jammy black berries. Good structure and silky tannin with notes of lavender, baking spice, green leaf and vanilla.

Varietal: 100% Merlot

Alcohol: 14.5%

Cellar: Up to 7 years

Pair With: Meat stews like a Coq au Vin, Boeuf Bourguignon, or a traditional lamb Daube. Though roast dishes like pot roast, duck, and lamb pair well. For cheeses, choose a strong nutty and complex varietal like Trappe d’Echourgnac.
