Tasting Notes: Aromas of plum and black cherries, with hints of forest floor and clove. The palate is bright and juicy while young with lots of red and blue berries, mellowing into redcurrant, blackberry and cherry. Subtle tannins and lively structure mellow with age and notes of forest floor, vanilla tobacco, leather and cinnamon emerge.

Varietal: 100% Pinot Noir

Alcohol: 13%

Cellar: Up to 15 years, decant if opening now.

Pair With: Spiced and peppery dishes like Moroccan Lamb Tagine, Coq au Vin, and Beef Wellington. The bright acidity will pair well with flavorful and delicate game meats like duck, and especially with fruit-based sauces. for cheeses, try creamy earthy varietals like Époisses, Pont l’Eveque, Tomme de Savoie, or Brillat Savarin.
