This wine Les Cadoles is part of Bourgogne de Vigne en Verre (BVV), created in 1981. It is a group of 35 domaines and 90 AOCs on 750 acres of vineyards in the Burgundy region. The vignerons devote their time to doing what they do best, caring for the vineyards and making their wines. While BVV takes care of marketing and selling the products. A cadole is a small stone house built in the vineyard as a shelter for the workers. It is shaped like an igloo and picturesque.

The grapes from Les Cadoles are destemmed and macerated for 4 to 5 days in a steel vat to extract the fruity aromas. Then they are fermented in a controlled temperature. The free-run and pressed wine is partially assembled for a period of settling. The wine is then put in casks for a year. Finally, only the best casks are selected to get the optimum assemblage in the bottle. A garnet wine with red and black berries and vanilla bouquet is then produced… with a well-balanced structure and long finish.
