Tasting Notes: Ripe grapes and black fruits, concentrated nose. Subtle notes of toasted wood. Plush dark fruits, strong but velvety tannins and a silky body. Mild baking spices on the finish.

Varietal: 80% Merlot, 20% Malbec

Alcohol: 13%

Cellar:  3- 5 years.

Pair With: Country pâté, duck confit, herb-crusted lamb, grilled ribeye, or slow-braised beef. Try a Cèpes à la Bordelaise or Entrecôte à la Bordelaise. Finishes beautifully with aged Comté, Tomme de Savoie, or mature Cantal.
